Zero hope of beating this virus
Angela Mollard was spot-on when she wrote last week that Australia is proof a zeroCovid strategy is a fantasy. It is nearly two years since I have seen my family in the UK, and as each month passes I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

My brother lives in Perth. They’re petrified of opening up and think coronavirus is the plague. He was concerned for us in the UK, but I, along with many friends and neighbours, have caught Covid and we’re all OK. Vaccination and herd immunity are the only way out.
