Desperate appeal by missing hiker’s family as bones found
THE family of hiker Esther Dingley are urgently seeking more information on what is believed to be a human skull and one other bone found on Friday close to where she went missing in the French Pyrenees.
The 37-year-old, right, had been walking alone near the Spanish border and was last seen on November 22.
Missing persons charity LBT Global, which is representing the family, said that it was ‘urgently seeking clarification’ on the discovery.
Ms Dingley’s mother will provide a DNA sample and her daughter’s dental records to French police to help them identify the remains.
No personal belongings have been found.
