THE CROWN star Emma Corrin’s appearance holding hands with dashing art director Ibrahim ‘Ibby’ Njoya must be a moment from the shortest ‘love affair’ in history, according to my spies. The couple were seen strolling, left, in London last week, sparking speculation they were dating. Call me cynical, but perhaps it was no coincidence that they were pictured in the same week that her play Anna X opened in the West End.

Representatives for Emma, 25, never confirmed or denied a romance at the time and now I learn that the star is not dating her pal Ibby, also 25, and never has done. Indeed, my source says Emma doesn’t even remotely fancy him.

I guess it just goes to show what a good actress she is…
