Murder at the border in Bulgarian chiller

A first for Walter Presents: a crime thriller from Bulgaria. An unfamiliar setting, but the theme of this 12-parter has resonated through many similar shows: the dilemma of refugees. Moody local cop Philip and scrappy security agent Mia (Teodora Duhovnikova, right with Vladimir Karamazov) will no doubt get more intimate as they investigate the murder of a border guard. Pressure is on her to blame a refugee, but another body throws the case wide open. There’s a hint of satanism, and the theme music is Scarborough Fair. Interestingly weird.
