Spooky sitcom that’s hauntingly hilarious

Written and performed by many of the Horrible Histories team, this wonderfully silly sitcom is about a gang of squabbling ghosts from different eras who haunt a large country house that a living couple recently moved into. A huge hit for the BBC, the show has just won the South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy. It combines clever, witty jokes with exuberant childishness. A third series is on the way, and it will be fascinating to see the upcoming American remake.
