Lights, camera, Harris boys!

IT MUST be a film first – the three sons of a Hollywood great with major roles in the same new movie.

The trio are Jamie, Jared and Damian Harris, pictured here left to right, whose father was Irish acting hellraiser Richard Harris. And, bizarrely, they owe their big chance to their stepfather – former MP and prisoner Jonathan Aitken.

The film, Brave The Dark, has Damian in the director’s chair and Jared and Jamie with acting roles. ‘Jonathan introduced us to one of the producers,’ Damian tells me from Los Angeles. ‘I think they had an option on his book about his time in prison.’ Based on a true story, the film tells the story of a boy who survived 12 years living in a wrecked car in a field.
