The 16-year-old daughter of BBC Olympics presenter Gabby Logan and husband Kenny last week qualified for the prestigious Horse of The Year Show
I’m pleased to report that she and her skewbald pony Oreo Patches won two classes at the British Showjumping National Championships, below, and will now compete at the sport’s flagship event at the NEC in Birmingham in October.
The teenager’s love of all things equestrian clearly runs deep. Even this photograph, left, taken with her 48-year-old mother earlier this year, comes from the premiere of the comedy-drama movie Dream Horse, which tells the true story of amateur owners whose grit and determination got their horse all the way to the Welsh Grand National.
Given her early success in the saddle, maybe they’ll be making films about Lois before too long.
