Director Gus Van Sant’s black comedy features an incredible performance from Nicole Kidman (above). She plays a young woman whose outwardly sweet demeanour hides her true personality – that of a ruthless go-getter who will stop at nothing to achieve her dream of becoming a TV star. ★★★★★
