Conductor Nicholas Collon and the Aurora Orchestra are taking on one of their biggest challenges to date as they perform Stravinsky’s The Firebird – which blends Russian fairy tales and folk melodies with modernism – entirely from memory. Tonight’s concert also features Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini, performed by Pavel Kolesnikov. ★★★★★
