Husband of PM’s aide in fight for life
THE husband of one of Boris Johnson’s key aides was fighting for his life last night after a horror cycling accident.
Father-of-two Alex Finn, married to Downing Street deputy chief of staff Baroness Finn, collided with a lorry.
Police and medics were called at 6am on Thursday to the scene in Primrose Hill, North London. Scotland Yard said the driver was helping with inquiries.
Mr Finn has worked for accountancy giant PwC since 1983. The firm said last night: ‘We wish Alex a speedy and full recovery.’ His wife Simone is a close friend of Carrie Johnson.
