Grisly murders and a grizzled old ’tec... what’s not to like?

Moody, unsettling crime series in which a grizzled detective, Captain Pierre Niémans (Olivier Marchal), and his impulsive young sidekick Lieutenant Camille Delaunay (Erika Sainte, left) investigate offences too extreme for local forces – gruesome ritualistic murders in remote areas of France and often with a twisted religious element. Each story unfolds over two episodes and makes the most of stunning rural settings.

Inspired by the hit 2000 film of the same name, starring Vincent Cassel and Jean Reno.
