Emma’s worth every penny
Good for Emma Stone (left), who could reportedly earn around £35million for a Cruella sequel. She was fabulous in the first film – I was totally mesmerised by her performance.

The original movie was obviously phenomenally successful on Disney+ for Disney to be willing to pay Emma so much money. I would rather she received it than a billionaire Hollywood executive.

Wouldn’t people still watch the film even if Emma wasn’t the star? She doesn’t deserve such a huge cut of the profits.
It’s the same with animated movies. Why pay famous people to voice the characters? That doesn’t matter to me. It is the movie itself and the story that matter.

This ‘ground-breaking’ deal’ is being offered to Emma just to mess with Scarlett Johansson, who is suing Disney over the release of the film Black
Widow. Disney is trying to push streaming and ‘rewarding’ actresses who agree to that more than those who want their movies released in cinemas.
