Tries from wing Makazole Mapimpi and hooker Malcolm Marx helped South Africa to a comfortable 29-10 Rugby Championship victory over Argentina in the Eastern Cape.

Both tries came in the second half and the Springboks will be disappointed they could not earn a bonus point. With Covid restrictions in New Zealand plunging the competition into confusion, South Africa have offered to host further games.
