RANGERS MISS SHARES TARGET
RANGERS’ latest share offer has raised £4.5 million, a figure that falls £2.25m short of the club’s target number.
Launched on June 1, the investment opportunity was intended to rake in £6.75m in order to help ‘future-proof’ the club.
In a statement confirming the final numbers, Rangers insisted the uptake showed the ‘phenomenal loyalty’ of its supporters. The money had been earmarked for improvements to the stadium and the construction of the new Edmiston House adjacent to Ibrox.
