Who’s a-Freud of ghosts?

GHOSTLY goings-on to report at Burford Priory, the ancient Oxfordshire mansion where PR supremo Matthew Freud’s family live.

Charlotte and Samson Freud, Matthew’s children with his ex-wife, media guru Elisabeth Murdoch, have revealed their home is haunted – reporting ‘knocking and banging’ noises being heard in the dead of night.

In messages shared by Charlotte, 20, the siblings also talk of ghostly presences ‘walking around’ the Grade I-listed house and how Charlotte found her pet dog ‘growling at an empty corner of the room’.

The priory was built on the site of a 13th Century Augustinian hospital and was bought by Elisabeth and Matthew for £6.5million in 2008.

Sounds terrifying – but I’m sure the Freud-Murdochs have experienced scarier things in their busy lives in the cutthroat media world than a few

measly ghosts…
