David Kross (above) plays Manchester City's German goalkeeper Bert Trautmann in this impressive biopic. It covers key events in his adult life, including his spell as a PoW, the prejudice he faced on and off the pitch, the death of his son and, of course, the moment he broke his neck while playing in the 1956 FA Cup final.
