Eco zealots lecture but never listen

Further to Peter Hitchens’s column last week, I would add it’s not just British political parties that have ‘swallowed the green pill’, but all Western political regimes, too.

The threat of extinction is a powerful tool to spread ‘climate project fear’ in order to soften up the public to accept taxation increases in the name of saving the planet.

Worst of all, there’s no debate. Instead we are subjected to lecturing from zealots who won’t listen to alternative argument.

Peter says new green laws will leave us stranded by power cuts. I can’t see the young really thinking about the impracticalities of this kind of future.

At least us old hands know how to survive – I’m keeping my log store stocked!
