Figures of fear

Your Health cover story last week asked if it was time to stop obsessing over Covid figures. The answer is: yes. They have helped create a climate of fear that is stopping our country getting back to normal. More people are dying of diseases such as cancer, the treatment for which has been sidelined during the pandemic.
