WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? 2

SOCIALITE and model Poppy Delevingne, right, rarely has a hair out of place but she claims she looked so unkempt as a child that her parents nicknamed her Worzel Gummidge.

And Poppy says that beauty disasters have followed her into adulthood. ‘I am the world’s worst person at doing my own make-up,’ she moans. ‘Honestly, I look like a clown when I give it a go. I once chopped off all my eyelashes with an eyelash curler because I didn’t put the rubber bit in. It was all very depressing.’

IT’S the aristo version of Gumtree – a website matching homeowners who want to rent their expensive properties to suitably posh tenants. But I hear trouble is brewing at Radio H-P – as one tenant is being sued for not paying rent on a Notting Hill pad.

Out-of-pocket homeowner Alice Cockerell – the socialite niece of former Tory politician David Heathcoat-Amory – tells me: ‘I am absolutely furious. It has all got very ugly.’

The exclusive site was set up by Nigel Hadden-Paton, father of Downton Abbey actor Harry. As part of the vetting process, a user must provide two referees. Alice says: ‘I think it is very important that the person who recommended my tenant is not allowed to make referrals in the future. I would hate anyone else to go through this.’
