EPL ROUND-UP

-

WOLVES finally got their season up and running under new manager Bruno Lage thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory away at Watford.

In search of their first point — or, indeed, goal — Lage’s side had opened their campaign with three successive 1-0 defeats prior to the visit to Vicarage Road.

But South Korean striker

Hwang Hee-chan netted on his debut in the 83rd minute, adding to an own goal from Watford’s Francisco Sierralta, to hand Portuguese coach Lage his first triumph.

Elsewhere, Brighton’s good start to the season continued with a 1-0 victory at Brentford.

Leandro Trossard struck a terrific 90th-minute winner to send the Seagulls into the top four.

West Ham’s Michail Antonio was sent off as David Moyes’ men drew 0-0 at Southampton.
