WOLVES finally got their season up and running under new manager Bruno Lage thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory away at Watford.

In search of their first point — or, indeed, goal — Lage’s side had opened their campaign with three successive 1-0 defeats prior to the visit to Vicarage Road.

Elsewhere, Brighton’s good start to the season continued with a 1-0 victory at Brentford.

Leandro Trossard struck a terrific 90th-minute winner to send the Seagulls into the top four.

West Ham’s Michail Antonio was sent off as David Moyes’ men drew 0-0 at Southampton.
