(2018) Channel 4, 9.20pm The original comic-book adaptation was a smash hit, so it came as no surprise when it was followed by an equally inventive sequel. Ryan Reynolds (above) returns as wisecracking Wade Wilson, who this time tries to protect a young mutant being targeted by a seemingly indestructible cyborg from the future. ★★★★★
