POP star Dua Lipa drew admiring looks on her catwalk debut when she modelled a Versace dress inspired by the iconic safetypin gown that made Liz Hurley famous.

The award-winning 26-year-old singer and songwriter added runway model to her list of talents as she graced the catwalk alongside stellar names such as Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell and Emily Ratajkowski. The threetime Grammy winner opened and closed Versace’s show, launching the event at Milan’s Fashion Week in a hot pink two-piece outfit split to the thigh She matched it with heels and striking mint eyeshadow.

Highlighting her star power in the Italian fashion house, she strutted down the runway for her closing appearance to her own song, Physical, wearing a black long-sleeved dress with buttons and gold safety-pin detailing.

Fashionistas said the dress was a tribute to the Versace gown worn by a then-unknown Ms Hurley when she accompanied boyfriend Hugh Grant to the premiere of Four Weddings And A Funeral in London in 1994.
