Lucas Hedges shines as gay Arkansas teenager Jared Eamons who is forced to come out to his parents (Russell Crowe, above and Nicole Kidman), who then enrol him in ‘conversion therapy'. Bullied by a tyrannical therapist (played by writer/director Joel Edgerton), Jared decides to try and fake his way through. ★★★★★
