Appalling SNP passport farce
SCOTLAND’S vaccine app launch last week hit predictable problems.
It was introduced fewer than 12 hours before vaccine passport requirements became a condition of entry to nightclubs, sports stadia and music gigs.
As well as the technical glitches, meaning thousands of Scots were told their details couldn’t be found or their face verification failed, there have been real issues of communication with the venues the new rules will affect. So much so that enforcement won’t start until October 18, more than two weeks after requirements are brought in.
The whole thing is yet another SNP shambles. I remember, under Alex Salmond, when the party fought elections on their record of delivery. From ferry procurement to drugs deaths to cancer waiting times and closing the attainment gap, Nicola Sturgeon’s record is woeful, and getting worse.
