The Cullen brothers’ offbeat love story continues as Alex (Will Merrick, right) accidentally shoots himself in the face with a toy ray-gun he found in an industrial bin – and creates his own evil twin.

Marc Wootton is joined by Hammed Animashaun, Rosie Cavaliero, Monica Dolan, Katherine Parkinson and Catherine Tate for the second series of Date Night (Radio 4, 11pm), the semiimprovised comedy following couples who are trying to keep their spark alive.
