Produced by Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio and starring the BBC police corruption thriller's Vicky McClure – who plays DI Kate Fleming – this new series is high-octane drama.

Following a team of bomb-disposal experts, the story hits the ground running as the experienced Lana Washington (McClure) and colleague Joel Nutkins (Adrian Lester, right with McClure) are called out to a council estate.

After the residents have been cleared out, they have to find out if the call was a hoax – but if there is a bomb, where is it, and can they defuse it before it goes off? As the seconds tick by, the tension rises, punctuated only by the knowing banter between these hardened professionals.

Not the most relaxing viewing just before bedtime, but thriller fans will know it's their duty to watch. ★★★★★
