Stevie Wonder Night
BBC2, from 8.30pm
You can't beat a bit of Stevie Wonder (right). The singer-songwriter born Stevland Hardaway Morris in Michigan in 1950 is simply one of the greatest performers in popular music history – so it's no surprise to find an evening dedicated to him.
It begins with Stevie Wonder At The BBC, a collection of memorable moments captured on camera by the corporation.
That's followed by two live gigs. The first, A Night Of Wonder (9.30pm), was recorded by the Beeb in 1995, while the second, Live At Last (10.35pm), features songs from his two-night residency at the O2 in London during the autumn of 2008. Listen out for such memorable songs as Superstition, Isn't She Lovely and My Cherie Amour.
Finally, celebrity fans including Martin Freeman and Beverley Knight share their love for his work in Stevie Wonder: A Musical History (11.30pm). ★★★★★
