Kerr moving up the Scottish ranks with Washington win

ATHLETICS: Olympic bronze medallist Josh Kerr picked up his first win of 2022 at the

Lilac Grand Prix in Washington State.

The 24-year-old came out on top in a photo finish in the men’s 800metres in an indoor personal best of 1min 46.64secs, moving him up to third on the Scottish all-time list.

Kerr will skip next weekend’s Grand Prix in Birmingham and is a maybe for the following week’s British Championships. ‘I’ve not decided yet,’ admitted Kerr (pictured).

Fellow Brit Jake Heyward won the 3,000m in a time of 7:48.83.
