Dortmund display raises Ibrox trio’s stock

WITH the final year of their contracts about to kick in, Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo and Alfredo Morelos couldn’t have chosen a better platform on which to showcase their best selves than Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.

All three were excellent in that fantastic, mind-blowing 4-2 Rangers win over BVB on Thursday. Kent, in particular, looks like a man reborn.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves is right to say that teams in England and Germany will now be considering him. Same goes for Aribo and maybe even Morelos, too.

Listen, Rangers should welcome it. All three are probably at the right time to move on. Rangers desperately need to get their playertrading model sorted. Finish the job against

Dortmund on Thursday and everyone will surely be in a strong negotiating position.

If these guys can finish the season strongly and get big moves for big fees, everybody wins. It is nothing to be scared of. Selling your leading players and sourcing replacements doesn’t have to be the end of the world if you are set up properly behind the scenes.
