Did Nostradamus predict this war will reach France?

- By Georgia Edkins

FRENCH prophet Nostradamus, hailed for predicting the Great Fire of London and Hitler’s rise to power, foresaw a war happening in Europe.

Although it is hard to pin down the exact dates of his predictions – laid out in his famous 1555 book Les Propheties – it is believed he envisioned there would be a major conflict this spring.

Among his 942 forecasts was the vague suggestion that France may face a threat from the east.

It says: ‘Blue-head shall whitehead harm in such degree, As

France’s good to both shall e’er amount.’

However, Nostradamus expert Bobby Shailer has suggested that a Third World War could take place ‘in the next few years’.

Last year he said: ‘Nostradamus says it will be a massive long war, 25 to 29 years, followed by smaller wars.’

But he said that afterwards there will be an ‘age of Saturn, which will be a thousand years of peace’.
