Sharon Churcher’s incredible report of the picture that brought down Prince Andrew was excellent. It answered so many questions readers have long been asking about the photo.

Virginia Giuffre was just 17 at the time and I personally think she’s been very brave during this whole ordeal.

I hope that she will now be able to move on from this experience the best she can.

Ms Churcher quotes Virginia as remembering it being taken as she ‘wanted something to show [her] mom’. Who in the photograph has benefited most? Certainly not the one whose reputation is in tatters.
