Go online, expect a backlash

Former Brexit Secretary David Davis’s article about online censorship and protection online made me wonder why people publish their innermost thoughts and opinions for the entire world to see – and not expect a comeback. In the past, such things were discussed down the pub. All open and above board, no hiding place for your opinions. My advice is, if you can’t take the fallout, keep your online mouth shut.

Thank goodness David Davis is speaking out about the Online Safety Bill and the accidental effect it could have. Most of our MPs are asleep at the wheel on this topic. Tech companies are way too powerful.
