Tycoon set to rebuild UK property empire

- By Neil Craven

PROPERTY mogul Paul Kemsley is poised to make a dramatic comeback on the London market.

Kemsley has taken a 50 per cent stake in real estate brokerage RIB, reputedly worth around £15million, from which he intends to relaunch his deal-making career.

The 54-year-old, whose wife Dorit, 45, appears on the TV series The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, lost his £500million Rock Investments business empire in the economic crash in 2009.

He has since rekindled his career in the US. The entrepreneur, who once interviewed Sir Alan Sugar’s aspiring stars on The Apprentice, will focus on the super-prime market – the most glamorous properties.

Kemsley, whose comeback will be televised in a Channel4 series in the autumn, said: ‘I’ve been around the block. But I’m a very different guy to the one I was back then and I feel grateful that I’ve been given a second chance.’
