Ship has sailed for our Scottish yards
Turkish shipbuilders Cemre Marin Endustri are, I’m sure, delighted to hear that the Scottish Government has placed an order for two ferries worth £105 million, destined for the Islay service.
This is a complete embarrassment for the Scottish Government and it is a real kick in the teeth to Scottish shipbuilders who are now considered to be in no fit state to handle the contract.
