Wogan: In His Own Words

To mark the 50th anniversary of Terry Wogan’s (right) first-ever breakfast show for the BBC, this programme looks back affectionately at his career. There’s also a chance to hear a rare interview with the man himself, recorded during the 1980s.

A new series of The Reunion (Radio 4, 11am) begins by bringing together those whose lives were changed forever by 2004’s Boxing Day tsunami. Among the contributors is a student who lost seven members of his family.

Drama: Rossum’s Universal Robots (Radio 4, 3pm) is a musical version of Czech writer Karel Capek’s sci-fi tale about the creation of artificial beings.
