It’s the moment fans have been dreading, but now it’s here. Before we bid farewell to Peaky Blinders for ever, though, there’s the feature-length final episode for us to enjoy, and with it the possibility that many questions will at last be answered.

Most of all, as the clouds of war gather over the world of the 1930s, we’ll find out if Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy, right) can survive the machinations of the many enemies he has made, from the darkest depths of the criminal underworld to the highest levels of the Establishment.

Afterwards, in Obsessed With Peaky Blinders (BBC3, 10.20pm) you can compare notes with comedians Darren Harriott and Lloyd Griffith as they dissect the finale. Then, in Becoming Tommy Shelby (BBC3, 10.50pm), Cillian Murphy reveals the secrets of portraying tortured Tommy over almost a decade. ★★★★★
