MSPs are taking a rise out of us

I find it quite disgusting that MPs and MSPs have been given a £2,200 rise at a time when everyone else is having to watch every penny.

Energy costs, National Insurance and food have never gone up at such a sharp rate. Yet these people think they’ve done such a great job that a £2,200 rise is justified. Pensioners are meant to get by with an extra £4 per week. Is there no one in government who will stand up for the most vulnerable?
