De Gea: It’s a ‘disgrace’

- By Rob Draper

DAVID DE GEA labelled Manchester United’s performance in the defeat by Everton a ‘disgrace’ and Gary Neville said it was a ‘joke’.

United fans chanted for the removal of the Glazer family and De Gea laid into his team-mates following the abject 1-0 loss at Goodison Park.

Goalkeeper De Gea said: ‘It is a disgrace from us, we should be winning this game. We don’t score but we don’t create proper

chances to score. We are not good enough, that is for sure. It will be difficult to be in the top four.’

Former United right-back Neville tweeted: ‘United a joke. Well done to Everton.’

Meanwhile, United’s top target to become manager in the summer Erik Ten Hag is looking to bring in former United striker

Robin van Persie as part of his backroom team.
