Doctor Who BBC1, 7.10pm

Classic foes the Sea Devils return to the much-loved programme for the first time since 1984. They should make Jodie Whittaker’s (below) penultimate trip in the Tardis a memorable one. The aquatic reptiles are awoken from a long slumber during the 19th Century, just as a notorious pirate queen begins hunting for some legendary lost treasure.

Let’s hope the Doctor, Yaz and Dan can prevent any bloodshed. ★★★★★
