3 stabbed in knife rampage

A KNIFE attacker was arrested yesterday after stabbing two men and a woman and injuring at least ten others in a town centre rampage.

One of the victims, a man in his 20s, was in a stable condition in hospital last night. The two others who were knifed were discharged.

The suspect, 33, was last night in custody following the attack just before 8am in Bedworth, near Coventry.

Warwickshire Police said the man walked through the town attacking people. Detective Sergeant Rich Simpkins described it as a ‘nasty incident’ and appealed for anyone else who was injured to come forward, adding: ‘We are not looking for any further suspects.’
