...And is THIS the letter that sealed his fate?

-

This is an edited version of the father-of-two’s formal objection to a beer garden opposite his home, which is now being linked to his death:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Havelock Hotel, Crescent Road, Nairn.

I write to formally object...

…It is with the benefit of the experience outside of living with a beer garden my front door that I raise the following points.

The decking has been used for the serving the pub of food and drink whenever is open. This has included late nights with and consequent the bar doors open noise and disturbance.

On a regular basis I find glasses in my garden in the street. and broken glass strewn During the summer months, I and my family using our front felt uncomfortable door and even looking out our front windows during the hours the pub was open as we staring frequently had customers directly back at us.

Crescent Road is predominantly a residential families area with several young with young children and I feel this objection interests of all is in the best those who reside there.

Sincerely,

 ?? ??
