The IT Crowd star Richard Ayoade is our host presiding over the glitz and glamour of the British Academy Television Awards at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

Leading Actor is a particularly hot category this year: Olly Alexander (centre, right) was acclaimed for his powerful breakthrough role in It's A Sin, but he must see off stiff competition from Sean Bean in Time and Stephen Graham in Help.

Two of their co-stars are also vying for honours – that's Lydia West in It's A Sin and Jodie Comer for Help – but can anyone stop Kate Winslet claiming another award for Mare Of Easttown after picking up an Emmy for her astonishing performance in the US drama? Graham Norton, Steve Coogan and the late Sean Lock are among the other nominees, while George Ezra provides the music.
