TO THE MANOR BORN BRITBOX COMEDY

The hugely popular sitcom began in 1979 and ran for three series, all of which are being made available here. It starred Penelope Keith in a role not a million miles from The Good Life’s Margo Leadbetter. After the death of her husband, the frightfully posh Audrey fforbesHamilton has to sell the beloved manor house that has been in her family for centuries and move into a small lodge on the estate. However, she keeps tabs on the big house’s new owner, Richard DeVere (Peter Bowles, below, with Keith), a former barrow boy who made his money in business. From Thursday

MONEY HEIST: KOREA – JOINT ECONOMIC AREA

NETFLIX THRILLER

The title isn’t exactly catchy, but you’re sure to be hooked on the series. It’s an adaptation of the hit Spanish thriller Money Heist but, you guessed it, set in a unified Korea. As before, thieves (above) target the nation’s mint, leaving the police to find a way to free their hostages and bring the culprits to justice. From Friday

LOOT

APPLE TV+ COMEDY

Who among us can honestly say they’ve ever felt sorry for unhappy billionaires? Exactly. That’s the main problem for this sitcom. The extremely wealthy Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) goes off the rails in the wake of her divorce, but finds a new sense of purpose when she discovers she has a charity foundation that she has never paid any attention to. From Friday

LAST NIGHT IN SOHO SKY/NOW FILM

Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie) is a sensitive 1960s-obsessed fashion student who has just moved to London. Her

incredibly vivid dreams seem to be telling her about an aspiring singer called Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy, right) who might have been murdered after falling in with some very nasty types. Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller is stylish, creepy and gripping for much of its running time but falls apart towards the end. Available now

MAN VS BEE NETFLIX COMEDY

Rowan Atkinson’s TV comeback gets off to a riotous start in an almost-silent, Mr Bean-esque comedy. He plays Trevor, a lovable dad and newly employed housesitter who ends up at war with a pesky bee on his first assignment in a luxury mansion. Will he keep his cool, or will destruction follow in his wake? Atkinson is on form in this short, sweet and certainly cringeworthy series that keeps you laughing and groaning throughout. From Friday

The idea of leaving a bunch of strangers somewhere remote and expecting them to fend for themselves isn’t exactly new, but this latest show promises to be a little bit different.
