On this four-day break you’ll be hosted by Delia for a full day at her Food and Wine Workshop. You’ll also be joined by chef Alex Mackay and wine expert Jason Banner, as well as a cocktail expert.

Your memorable food and drink experience­s will include a threecours­e lunch with wine-tasting, a cooking demonstrat­ion with Alex, a cocktail masterclas­s and a special question-and-answer session with Delia and the team.

You’ll also dine at Delia’s Restaurant and Bar in Norwich – and this is just the start of your Norfolk adventure. There will be plenty of time to explore the area from your four-star Norwich hotel.

The lovely Broads are within easy reach, and there are ample shopping and dining opportunit­ies close by. The Jacobean Blickling Hall stately home, north of Aylsham, and the charming coastal towns and villages of North Norfolk are slightly further afield.

This acclaimed restaurant at Norwich City Football Club, where Delia is joint majority shareholde­r, offers meals to Delia’s exacting standards and has a seasonal menu that puts the emphasis on local produce. You will have canapes on arrival and a three-course dinner, followed by coffee and something sweet.

Explore Norwich: Your Norwich city-centre hotel is situated just minutes from the Norwich Riverside Walk, which takes in a series of bridges and historic buildings, including the New Mills Pumping House and the medieval watergate of Pulls Ferry. Just over a mile from the hotel are 900-year-old Norwich Castle and the city’s cathedral, which was completed in 1145. England’s most complete Norman cathedral, it has the second-tallest spire in the country.

Pop to the Bridgerton-esque Assembly House for afternoon tea or enjoy retail therapy in The Lanes or the Royal Arcade – Norwich is a shoppers’ paradise.

Best of the Norfolk coast: Highlights in the area include the Broads National Park, Burnham Market with its arts and crafts shops, and the historic village of Walsingham – as well as countless traditiona­l Norfolk taverns.
