Orson sings the blues after ‘split from Alexa’
SHE rarely misses a Glastonbury, and model Alexa Chung was back at Worthy Farm this weekend, turning heads in vintage Barbour jacket and hardy lace-up boots.
But when Orson Fry, the confectionery heir she started dating in 2019, took to one of the festival’s smaller stages on Friday night, she was notable by her absence.
That’s because, I am told, the pair have gone their separate ways.
Orson, 25, might even have dropped a hint about a break-up as he introduced one track by saying: ‘This next song is called Ways Of A Woman – not that we’d know.’
While I didn’t spot Alexa, 38, in the sparse audience for Orson’s band Some People, another model, Tigerlily Taylor, the daughter of Queen drummer Roger Taylor was there – but left halfway through.
Alexa started dating the scion of the Fry chocolate dynasty in 2019, shortly after splitting from Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard. Orson was working part-time as a waiter when he was introduced to Alexa through mutual friends.
The photogenic pair were first snapped together at London festival All Points East in 2019.
A public display of affection in front of the cameras announced their romance.
Until recently, Alexa was a familiar presence at Orson’s gigs around the capital, and the two were once spotted sipping cocktails with
ex-Oasis star Noel Gallagher, who’s also at Glastonbury this weekend.
Alexa was scouted as a model aged 16, and later shot to fame as a presenter of Channel 4’s Popworld.
She has been the face of DKNY Jeans and Lacoste, and launched her own fashion label in 2017, but it collapsed earlier this year after suffering £11 million losses.
