THE romantic River Danube flows for almost 1,800 miles through the heart of Europe – and on our memorable six-day trip you’ll get to enjoy some of its highlights, as well as watching a Julie Andrews-themed performance on your way to visit the setting of The Sound Of Music, the magnificent city of Salzburg.
During our spectacular cruise, you’ll be joined by members of the cast of Julie Madly Deeply, the acclaimed West End act that offers a cheeky and affectionate look at the life of national treasure Dame Julie Andrews.
You will be treated to a special live cabaret performance with all the classics from The Sound Of Music, Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady – Julie starred in the stage version.

Your adventure starts with a relaxing hotel break in the ancient Bavarian city of Passau. Then you’ll set sail on the Danube for four nights aboard the A-ROSA DONNA cruise ship, taking in the lovely Wachau Valley as well as Linz and Salzburg.
In the Austrian capital, Vienna, known as the City of Music, you will have a chance to explore museums, galleries, palaces and castles.
You’ll be joined by the cast of Julie Madly Deeply for an evening performance looking at the life of Dame Julie Andrews with stories, anecdotes and legendary songs from her hit musicals Mary Poppins and The Sound Of Music.
After the show, there will be an opportunity to meet the cast of Julie Madly Deeply, who will be happy to sign your complimentary CD of the show’s songs.
Your trip will also take you to Bratislava. The historic Slovakian capital has long been an ethnic melting pot, as can be seen in every corner of the city.
