Control deadly ‘games’

-

I read with sadness the saga of 12-year-old Archie Battersbee. His parents are obviously devastated, having fought so hard for so long for him. I have to ask why ‘social media games’ are readily available for young children to take part in, especially when they have such potentially catastrophic results. How many more children must die before it is better controlled?

This was a desperately sad situation, but Archie was brain-dead and his poor body was being artificially maintained. It may sound harsh, but he was taking up an intensive care bed while his family came to terms with his tragic and violent death. The NHS needed to give Archie’s bed to someone who will recover.
