Marriage’s writer and creator, Stefan Golaszewski, also penned this sublime sitcom; all three series are now available. The wonderful Lesley Manville (below) plays newly widowed Cathy, who is negotiating being single again with ‘help’ from her family. However, it’s Cathy’s touching possible romance with old friend Michael (Peter Mullan) that really tugs at the heartstrings.
