All That Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star

Join comedian Katherine Ryan (right) as she presents the returning reality competition series from a workshop in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. Eight amateur jewellers are contending for the crown of champion over the next six weeks, watched by designers Shaune Leane and Dinny Hall.

The opening episode begins with the bestseller round, in which the contestants have to create one of the ‘single statement earrings’ that are apparently all the rage this year.

Then comes the bespoke challenge, which this time is creating a nameplate necklace to honour a charity founder for her work, after which the judges must decide who is jeweller of the week – and who’ll be going home. Ryan is, as ever, ready with a quick quip. ★★★★★
