Clare Balding (right) is back for more hikes – and this time it’s the listeners who are guiding her along the way. She begins by meeting three women who qualified as mountain leaders in their 50s as they take her on a six-mile walk around Malham in the Yorkshire Dales.

In Being Jackie Wilson (Radio 4, 11.30am) Scarlett O’Malley meets Bobby Brooks, who performs as a tribute act to Wilson but turns out to have his own remarkable story to tell.

Assignment (BBC World Service, 8pm) meets six Ukrainian 17-year-olds who face an uncertain future as they prepare to leave their school, which was badly shelled by the Russians.
